Melissa 'Missy' Ann LaVigne, 48, of Fargo, N.D., died Aug. 7, 2018, at home.She was born at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., to Gerard and Peggy (Pride) LaVigne. She graduated from Hibbing High School and Alexandria Tech in Minnesota. She worked at Core Link Solutions in Fargo, N.D.
Melissa is survived by her son, Adam, and his dad, her good friend, Jeff Christensen; her parents, Jerry and Peggy LaVigne of Hibbing; her sister, Kristina (Dan) Pierce; nieces, Katie and Miranda Pierce of Hibbing; uncle, Cary (Ruth) LaVigne of Colorado Springs, Colo.; uncle, Roger (Jean) Pride of Pengilly; aunt, Dona (Bob) Scheets of Coleraine; uncle, Bob Pride of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many cousins and special friends from Fargo and Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Gloria, and her grandparents.
Funeral: Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 14, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, N.D.
Visitation: Will be held from noon to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial: Will be in Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, N.D.
