June 26, 1970 - August 29, 2008
David R. Marlow, 38, of Chisholm, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008, in the Fairview University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing.He was born June 26, 1970 in Hibbing. He had worked as a laborer for many businesses in the area. In his free time, he loved to be outdoors with Tigger his dog, hunting, fishing or riding his four-wheeler. When not outdoors, David spent time working with wood.
He is survived by the love of his life, Leslie Nielsen, and her son, Ricky Nielson; his mother, Carol (John Gersich) Marlow of Hibbing; his children: Matthew Smith, Steven R. Marlow and Theresa Marlow; his brother, Steven F. (Yukiko) Marlow of Salida, Colo., and his children, Ken Marlow and Laiya Marlow; his paternal grandparents, Milly and Donald Sorenson of Hibbing; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Janasky.
Funeral: Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in the Dougherty Funeral Home in Hibbing. The Rev. Barbara Hegfors will officiate.
Visitation: Will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home
