Obituary

May 27, 1970 - August 19, 2016

AnnMarie Lee Halling, 46, of Cloquet and formerly of Hibbing, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, in her home.

Ann was born May 27, 1970, in Hibbing, to Mark Keske and Nancy Maki. She graduated from Hibbing High School in 1988 and continued her education in the Culinary Arts Program from Hibbing Community College. She met her husband, Bob Halling, in 1989, and they were married Sept. 10, 1994. They previously lived in Oshkosh, Wis., and Burnsville, Minn., prior to living in the Cloquet area.

Ann formerly worked as an independent living specialist for Access North and was currently working for Cloquet High School in food service where she was also serving as union steward for AFSCME Local 545.

She was a member of Good Hope Church and enjoyed helping anyone she could with her numerous talents. Ann enjoyed cooking, gardening and tending her flowers, but most important to her, were her faith and love of Jesus and caring for and spending time with her family. She was the best wife and mother and will be dearly missed by her family.

Ann is survived by her husband, Bob; children Jacob, Adam and Natalie; mother Nancy Maki; father Mark (Patti) Keske; sister Jennifer Maki; brothers Mark and Arman Maki; step-brother Ryan Keske; father and mother-in-law Harold and Lana Halling; brother-in-law Brian (Michelle) Halling; sister-in-law Lori (Todd) Heins; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

VISITATION: 10:30 a.m. until the noon memorial service Tuesday, Aug. 23, in Good Hope Church, 55 Armory Road in Cloquet. Pastor Mike Stevens will officiate.
